Pegboard Interior Spacer Bracket

Pegboard Interior Spacer Bracket\r\n\r\nA remix of a Bracket originally designed by rawkstar320, remixed again by me after using their Perimeter bracket which caused some sag and bending across the large board I wanted to use. So I remixed it once more. Between the three brackets I installed a very stable 2'x4' Pegboard for my print room. Fun and satisfying project that'll keep future ones organized.\r\n---\r\nThis is designed to be used with these other two things:\r\n\r\n- Rawkstar320 Corner Brackets: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:989780\r\n- 3dhype Center (Perimeter) Brackets: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2497525\r\n\r\n---\r\nTo install this project I used the following tools:\r\n- 3D Printer\r\n- Phillips Head Screwdriver\r\n- Power Drill\r\n- 3/16" Drill Bit\r\n- Measuring Tape\r\n- Pencil\r\n\r\nAnd the following Supplies:\r\n- 1x Pegboard, 2'x4' (Boards available at hardware stores)\r\n- 4x Corner Brackets\r\n- 6x Center Brackets\r\n- 2x Interior Brackets\r\n- 12x Ribbed Plastic Anchors for Drywall and Screw (#4 - 6 x 7/8 in)\r\n- 20x Flat Head Phillips Screws (#4 x 3/8 in)\r\n- Super Glue or Other Adhesive\r\n\r\n---\r\nAfter gathering supplies, measure your locations twice before carefully marking where to drill your holes and insert your plastic anchors for the Perimeter Brackets. Clean and prep the wall and pegboard front surface. Then secure the back portion (flat on both sides) of the Interior Spacer Brackets using Super Glue (or other adhesive) to the BACK of your pegboard. Line up the hole in the spacer with a hole in the pegboard itself - try to ensure as even a spacing as possible (for a single 2'x4' board, I counted from the bottom corners, 12 in and 12 up).\r\n\r\nOnce that dries and you have installed the perimeter mounting brackets, place your board up on the brackets, ensuring a nice fit. Then, take your pencil and draw dots through the holes you glued the spacers over. Take the board down one last time, drill the holes and set your last two anchors. Put the board up again, place the spacers circular front portion (flat on one side, rounded on the other) over the proper hole. Use the longer #4 screws included (hopefully) with your plastic anchors to fasten the front of the bracket to the board and tighten the back up against the plastic anchor.\r\n\r\nAfter you've finished that, simply use the shorter #4 screws to secure the front plates of the perimeter brackets and voila! Pegboard mounted. Now you have plenty of space for all those great 3D printed pegboard hooks and rungs - Cheers!
