How to customize HyperOrganizer [via Thingiverse]: parttype = Select between Circular or Rectangular parts R = Rectangular (default) C = Circular width = Width [R] / Diameter [C] of your part depth = Depth [R] / Diameter [C] (MUST EQUAL WIDTH) height = This is the height of your part (MINIMUM is '32' for 2 rows of pegs) thickness = This is the thickness of your part (1.6 = good / 2.0 better / > 2.0 = very durable) Optimal size for peg widths: 31.75 (32) / 57.15 (58) / 82.85 (83) // [+25.4] pegs = Span between pegs [0 = centered (one peg // 1 = 2 pegs // 2 = 3 pegs] rows = Span between pegs [0 = one row (one peg // 1 = 2 rows // 2 = 3 rows] ADVANCED PART OPTIONS solid = Select between a hollow part or a completely solid part that you can modify further N = no – hollow part (default) Y = yes – solid part base = Remove base - to create a mount or passthrough for tools Y = yes – solid base (default) N = no – base removed offset = Creates an offset (in mm) from the wall, ideal for irregularly shaped objects default = '0' ANGULAR CUTAWAY OPTIONS removepegs = Removes all pegs, allowing you to stick your part anywhere! N = no (default) Y = yes - removes all pegs morepegs = Adds an extra set of pegs for increased stability, great for heavier items N = no (default) Y = yes – adds an extra set of pegs (left-right) Print Settings: Printer: MonoPrice 3DP Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 200 microns Infill: 20% Material Used: PLA (Matterhackers Pro PLA - White) Layer height: 0.20 Match the wall thickness to a multiple of your nozzle. I like to use a thickness of 1.6mm and my nozzle is 0.4mm, so I use the following settings for solid walls (4 x 0.4 = 1.6): Top Solid Layers: 4 Bottom Solid Layers: 4 Outline/Perimeter Shells: 4 Infill: 20% (for the pegs & offsets) Speed: 40 - 50mm/s Supports: Yes, Required - The more support the pegs receive, the easier they will fit. Skirt/Brim: Yes, Not Required - I use the following settings to make my pieces stick nicely to the build plate with no warping and minimal post-processing: Skirt Layers: 1 Skirt Offset from Part: 0.00mm (no spacing!) Skirt Outlines: 10 After removing supports, you may need to sand down some of the pegs before they give a snug fit. If you printed a skirt with your part like I recommended, use an X-ACTO Z Series #1 Knife to remove any remaining skirt. You can also use a lighter to 'tighten up' the plastic, but be careful not to overdo it.
