Pegboard Hands

Pegboard Hands

thingiverse

My local public library boasts a vibrant MakerSpace, and its massive pegboard stands out for its ample empty space. A creative solution presents itself: 3D Printed Artwork on the pegboard. Hands seemed like an obvious first choice for pegboard art in a MakerSpace setting. I crafted both left and right hands, as they are a nifty concept. UPDATE: A new photo showcases their new home. When printing the artwork, if you plan to hang anything from it, the pinky finger is somewhat fragile and cannot hold much weight at all. The right hand featured in the photo has undergone repairs four times with various types of model glue. The photograph displays the hands after applying a coat of matte clear "binds to plastic" protective spray paint.
