Pegboard Container
thingiverse
This container was designed to optimize storage space on a pegboard while minimizing the amount of filament material needed for printing. I've printed numerous items from Thingiverse for my pegboard, but getting supports to function properly has been an issue - when they did work, the supports seemed wasteful. To solve this problem, I created this model that eliminates the need for supports altogether! It features small triangles under the pegs that are printed to conserve material on supports and can be easily snapped off if needed. If you encounter any difficulties with them, simply use wire cutters to trim them off. I've also worked on fine-tuning the tolerances so that there is less than a millimeter of space between containers when they're stacked together. My goal was to make it easy to place them while ensuring they remain strong enough to withstand loads without breaking or coming loose. The unique shape allows for more storage space without compromising accessibility - containers on top won't obstruct your hand from reaching into the one below. I'm thrilled with how this design is shaping up! If you have any suggestions on how I can improve it, please leave a comment. Your feedback means a lot to me. Feel free to post a picture of it in action and let me know what you think of my design - I love seeing people bring my creations to life!
