Pegboard Cap Baby Food Jar
thingiverse
I collected a bunch of old baby food jars and envisioned using them to stash parts on a pegboard. Consequently, I crafted a design that leverages the existing cap as opposed to developing a threaded connection. I prefer employing straightforward solutions and attached the original lids with 2 4-40 screws and nuts. The baby food jar caps measure 50.5mm in diameter at their narrow section (excluding lip). This model is intended for use with pegboards featuring 1 inch spacing, where it fits flawlessly within Home Depot pegboards as illustrated in an accompanying photo. Settings Recommendations: Raft: Activate Supports: Turn On Infill: Set to 35% for optimal tang strength Shells: Specify two layers Layer Height: Set to 0.20mm Following printing, meticulously remove the raft and supports using a sharp xacto knife while taking care not to compromise the center "tang" during cleanup. File as needed to achieve a snug fit in the pegboard, then drill 2 holes through the cap and fasten with nuts using 1/4 inch 4-40 screws.
