Flying a meticulously crafted scale model of the Pegasus XL rocket demands attention to detail. Built at a precise 1:25 scale, this marvel measures 670 mm in length and boasts a diameter of 50 mm. Propelled by three robust 10 N-s model rocket motors - each firing on C6-5 power - this scaled version soars to an altitude of approximately 140 meters. The body tube itself is expertly crafted from sturdy cardboard, measuring 50 mm in diameter courtesy of Klima. To bring this design to life, two tubes of specific lengths are required: one at 395 mm and the other at a precise 200 mm, coupled together with a seamless tube coupler. Upon completion, including the motors, this stunning model tips the scales at approximately 300 grams, a testament to the precision engineering that went into its creation.
