<p>Flying semi scale model of Pegasus XL rocket.<br/> Scale 1:25<br/> Length 670 mm, diameter 50 mm.<br/> Powered by three 10 N-s model rocket motors (3x C6-5), altitude apogee circa 140 m.<br/> The body tube is cardboard 50 mm diameter by Klima. You will need two tubes 395 mm and 200 mm with a tube coupler.</p> <p>The weight of the complete rocket including motors is about 300 g.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong> Rebel II</p> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong> Doesn't Matter</p> <p><strong>Supports:</strong> No</p> <p><strong>Infill:</strong> 5%</p> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>Printed from white PLA with one perimeter and infill 5%.<br/> Motor holder corrently needs print supports.</p> <h3> Post-Printing</h3> <p>I use UHU Power (polyurethane glue) and super glue (cyanoacrylate) to bond plastic parts to cardboard body tube.</p> <h3> How I Designed This</h3> <p>Construction tools used:<br/> Solvespace V2.3 (nose cone, launch lug),<br/> Blender V2.78 (fins, wing, motor holder),<br/> 3D Builder (.stl model fix and rotation),<br/> Netfabb Basic 7.4 (.stl model cut),<br/> Open Rocket (stability and fly simultaion)</p>
