This Pegasus Rocket model is my first attempt at building a large, multi-part model. The tallest part stands less than 150 mm tall, making it suitable for most types of printers. 8-23-2017: Work-in-progress notice has been removed. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: No Notes: Choose a low resolution; this model lacks intricate details and will take some time to print. Only the "Pegasus End" piece requires structural support. The "Pegasus Wing" piece has delamination issues on its wingtips, so ensure good adhesion if printing full-size. While I haven't experienced print failure from wingtips detaching, the wing surface is affected. Post-Printing Depending on material shrinkage, you may need to sand or file away excess material for a snug fit. Once the pieces slide together smoothly, glue them in place (superglue works well with ABS and PLA).
