Pegasus Pony

Making this model on my CNC mill is a big job. I'm slicing it up into thin pieces and making an 18" model that will take some work to finish. I created the model in Blender and exported it as a .stl file, then sliced it up into 2" thick sections for cutting on the mill. However, this project is very custom, so it's not something I can easily share with others. To help you understand how I made this model, I took some reference pictures of Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony and used them as a guide in Blender. After cleaning up the model in Blender, I imported it into Autodesk Inventor to do the slicing and other math needed for CNC work. If I had wanted a higher surface resolution on the model, I would have spent more time making detailed curves and lines, but that would have made the .stl file much bigger - over 300MB on my computer! Instead, I'm providing the original .blend file so you can boost the resolution to your liking.
