Lighting design is my current profession, where innovation for prototypes and new products in a vast market must remain a constant pursuit. PEGASUS CHANDELIER embodies this philosophy, engineered to replicate the illusion of a suspended sculpture. The structure comprises approximately 25,000 Ø1/2" faceted crystals, arranged in varied positions and precise lengths to achieve the desired shape for the sculpture. Suspended from Ø1/16 SS cable, the sculpture is securely mounted within a reinforced canopy designed to support its weight effortlessly. This dramatic lighting fixture is illuminated by MR-16 RGB bulbs, offering an extensive range of colors to suit every occasion, with full dimming capabilities providing greater control over light intensity. The canopy and sculpture are meticulously crafted in SOLIDWORKS to ensure seamless assembly, with the cables and perforations omitted from the design due to the complexity of the model. These features were added post-production as a visual aid to convey the final result.
