Peg solitaire

Peg solitaire

Hi! This is a printable version of some hop-over solitaires that I created because they remind me of the hours I spent playing with these kinds of toys when I was a kid. Rules: 1. Place all pins on the board, leaving one empty hole. 2. Remove a pin by jumping over it with another pin. 3. Only horizontal and vertical jumps are allowed. 4. Jump one pin at a time. 5. Your goal is to remove all pins, leaving only the last one on the board. Want to give it a try? It might look easy, but you'll see! Files: Three boards (pyramid, cross, and octagon) for you to play with. A lot of pins - 9mm and 10mm diameter. The holes are all 10mms in diameter, and I've included pins with the exact size and a bit smaller too. I usually print at the exact size, reducing "horizontal expansion" a bit in the slicer to get a good fit. But if you prefer, you can print the 9mm pins instead. There are three files with arrays of pins: The pyramid board needs 14 pins, the cross board needs 32, and the octagon board needs 36. I've also included individual pin files for your convenience. I designed these solitaires using OpenSCAD, and I've included the .scad file too, so you can take a closer look. I hope you enjoy playing with these hop-over solitaires! Have fun!
