Peg Board Lock
thingiverse
I've always been fed up with pegboard hooks that detach when you try to remove what's hanging on them. After countless refinements, I've come up with a solution. To secure it in place, I use a 1 1/4 drywall screw. When you need to move the hook, simply remove the screw and relocate it without causing significant damage to the pegboard. With the screw back in place, your hook is secure once again. I initially experimented with snap-in pegs, but they often tear into the pegboard when removing hooks. Purchased snap-in plugs were another option, but they added unnecessary cost and were hard to find. A 6 x 1 1/4 drywall screw, on the other hand, is widely available.
