The Pedestal of Eternity is a mystical pedestal of granite that serves as the original resting place of the Master Sword, the Blade of Darkness's Bane, when it's not in use by the Chosen Hero or his successors. It is typically depicted as a pedestal of charcoal stone, often with the emblem of the Triforce emblazoned on it, sometimes accompanied by texts of ancient Hylian lore. The Pedestal of Eternity also functions as a lock that seals the portal leading to the legendary Sacred Domain that resides within the ancient Temple of Time where the Pedestal of Eternity and the Master Sword are both ensconced. It's been stated that only those who bear the lineage of the Knights of Hyrule can draw the Master Sword from the pedestal. I crafted this base to complement the Master Sword - 10" Desk Weapon by Andrew Bougie! I admired his model and sought a proper way to showcase it at my desk.
