This fix will resolve the broken lifter mount on a widely used type of waste sorting bin, commonly known as a trash can.\nThe bins in question have been sold worldwide under numerous brand names, including "Crofton" (Aldi), "Kmart", and "Walmart", among others.\nThe arm attachment was poorly designed with only a few millimeters of plastic to hold the lid securely in place.\n\n"Circumstances can sometimes be explained by incompetence rather than malicious intent."\n\nHopefully, the designer was just having a bad day.\nInstallation is straightforward:\nSimply print the necessary piece(s).\nRemove the old mount attachment using a Dremel or a carpet knife.\nAttach and glue the new mount(s) into place with a permanent adhesive.\nNow you can enjoy your repaired bin.\n\nPrinting Settings:\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.3 mm\nInfill: 25%\nNotes: Print with at least two outer layers and an infill of 25% or more.
