Pedal Assist Sensor - Mag Mount
thingiverse
Needed a reliable mount for the PAS magnetic ring on a bicycle with a hollow splined bottom bracket with external bearings. Small chainring using 5 bolt 74 BCD has very little clearance between the bike frame, so the epoxy mounted magnetic ring used, was getting knocked off if chain slipped. Crank assembly is an FSA Gossamer. Designed 3 parts to be able to mount mag ring on left side of bike, uses two struts, a base plate for the mag ring to mount to and the plate that attaches to the center threaded crank attachment piece. Assembled with small sheet metal or wood screws, used epoxy for the mag ring base plate, thinking about adding some very small sheet metal screws as well as the epoxy.
