Peco Motor - Hole Centering
thingiverse
To centre the points I use a Couple of cocktail sticks either side of the points so you can mark where you want to drill the hole for the motor pin To make things easier to centre the Peco motor to the points from underneath your baseboard what you do is attach this little gizmo through the bottom of the motor to keep it centred whilst you mark where to screw the motor mount to the baseboard. Don't forget to remove the cocktails sticks before you fire up the points. To protect the motor when it's fixed to the baseboard check out my cover: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5231772 Check out the youtube video below which is where I got the idea from (you might have to copy and paste the url to watch it). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55WrOtL-egc
