Pebble Time Charging Stand

Charge Stand for Pebble Time Smart-watch A work in progress that requires further development. I haven't been able to complete the laser cut or printed bases to test them yet (my printer broke halfway through). The mount has been tested with my Pebble Time watch and fits well, so I use it without the base for now since it supports the magnets in the cable, which are pretty weak, and keeps it from popping off mid-charge. I still need to work on tolerances as it takes a bit of sanding, but with about 5 minutes it will all fit together tightly. The stand uses the charging cable that comes with the Pebble Time, which can be easily inserted and removed from the stand. The cantilever design allows for charging watches with both open and closed loop bands. It includes 2 versions of a base for laser cutting (wood or acrylic) and 3d printing (it fits in my 6x6x6 Printrbot LC with room to spare). The stand is based on Pebble Time exterior and charge cable models from Pebble. Instructions Once the charging cable is inserted into the body of the stand, the cap will slide over the cable and into the grooves on the stand to hold it in place. For the current laser cut version, the base is held together with acrylic cement and glued to the stand. The 3d printed base clips into the top piece, and some glue may be added to make it stronger.
