Pebble 2 (SE and HR) smartwatch replacement buttons. The pictures clearly show the buttons printed using Polyjet technology, not FDM. The material used is a Composite of Agilus Black, which has a Shore A hardness rating of 30, and Vero White, which is extremely rigid with a Shore A hardness rating of 80. This composite material has an approximate Shore A hardness rating of 70. I have not printed or attempted to print the buttons using FDM, so I am unable to provide details on filaments, support settings, or slicer settings. Once you have achieved a satisfactory print, you will need a dressmaker's pin and a small craft knife, similar to an Exacto knife, to carefully remove the old button material from your watch. I strongly advise testing the fit of the buttons using tape before fixing them permanently, as seen in one of the photos. For polyjet materials, Stratasys recommends using cyanoacrylate (superglue) to bond parts together. Please visit this link to view recommended glues for different printing types, including polyjet. I highly recommend against using thin superglue, as it is difficult to work with and sets too quickly; instead, use a viscous or medium-slow superglue. When fixing permanently, rather than gluing the entire assembly at once and hoping for the best, I have found it effective to start from one end, applying glue to the case using a pin to avoid excessive glue usage. Fix the top edge (nearest to the screen) of the buttons first as you work your way along in small steps. I have mechanical Pebble 2 button designs available for purchase on Shapeways; however, those models are not compatible with home printing due to their extremely tight tolerances, which can only be achieved using polyjet technology.
