Pearstone shock guard mount
thingiverse
A friend required a replacement part for his shock guard, so I designed one in TinkerCAD and checked its validity with NetFabb. The part was then printed on MakerGeeks black PLA material. It fits perfectly! Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No rafts were used. Supports: No supports were generated. Resolution: A resolution of .2 or .3 was chosen. Infill: The infill density was set to 100%. Notes: Printing took approximately 39 minutes with a default speed of 3600 mm/min using Simplify3D. Post-Printing After printing, I had to drill out the mounting holes. I believe a 1/8" bit was used for this task.
