Steven is a young boy who lives in Beach City with his mother, Rose Quartz. He's got a very special gift - he's a Crystal Gem, one of five magical guardians tasked with protecting the world from monsters and other supernatural threats. Steven's best friends are Greg, his step-dad; Connie, a skilled warrior-in-training; and the rest of the Crystal Gems: Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. Together, they go on all sorts of wild adventures to save the day. But Steven's life isn't all fun and games. He's also got some pretty big responsibilities as a Crystal Gem, like helping out in the family business - a magical gemstone shop that's been around for centuries!
