Pear Effector for Kossel Plus - with ABL
thingiverse
This is the final version of my "pear effector" designed specifically for the Anycubic Kossel Plus.\r\nIt leverages Auto Bed Leveling technology, but does not incorporate Zesty Nimble. If you're looking for alternative versions, check out these links: \r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3255063 (no ABL, no Zesty Nimble)\r\nand\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3255093 (with ABL and Zesty Nimble).\r\n\r\nTo maximize air flow and heat sink cooling, I conducted extensive CFD simulations to optimize fan angles.\r\nThis effector utilizes the E3D-v5 heat sink from Anycubic's original kit, an E3D-v5 clone, along with:\r\n- 3x 30x30mm fans;\r\n- 9x M3 nuts;\r\n- 2x M3 screws;\r\n- 1x 20mm X 10mm X 2mm magnet;\r\n- 12x 5mm (diameter) X 5mm (height) cylindrical magnets;\r\nthe remaining components are from Anycubic's kit.\r\n\r\nThis effector outperforms the original Anycubic one due to superior air flow orientation, directing it towards the heat sink and then the nozzle. As a result:\r\n- The 3D printed surface is smoother, thanks to consistent air flow all around\r\n- It becomes much harder to clog the throat, as the heat sink remains better cooled down\r\n\r\nBy using magnets to connect the upper part (corpo) to the lower part (diffusore), maintenance becomes significantly easier; it's also safer in case the nozzle kicks up the bed glass.\r\n\r\nHowever, printing with PET-G and other materials requiring low air flow or no fan is extremely challenging.
