Modernized mouse trap design utilizes a recycled plastic 28oz Jif peanut butter jar as the base. Simply leave the peanut butter inside and screw on a 3D printed mouse trap mechanism in place of the original jar lid, which is yet to be tested. Assembly requires wiring, following the instructions from the original "Live Catch Mouse Trap" design by entomophile, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2815304. A warning is issued that the 3D printed part may not fit perfectly with the Jif jar due to potential issues with the original jar lid model.
