Peanut Butter Tumbler
thingiverse
My family consumes a great deal of peanut butter. We purchase it in its all-natural form, which results in a puddle of oil at the top and a hard-packed clay base when you remove the seal. Mixing the peanut butter is a task that none of us desires to undertake. Therefore, I designed this tumbler. Running it overnight with room-temperature peanut butter that remains sealed will result in completely mixed contents by the next morning. Occasionally, we must run it for a longer period. You need to print two end plates and four pipe ends. The pipe ends feature long shafts, but only one of them requires a long shaft to fit into the Rotisserie motor. Consequently, when printing the remaining three pipe ends, you can either abort the print early or simply cut them off. In addition to the items that you need to print, you will also require: Four bearings: https://www.amazon.ca/uxcell- Skates-Bearing-26x9x8mm/dp/B014R1ST7S (I am aware that the item description refers to "Skateboard" bearings; however, these are actually larger 629ZZ bearings.) One Rotisserie motor: https://www.amazon.ca/Onlyfire-Universal-Electric-Replacement-Rotisserie/dp/B00X7RKCC4 Two lengths of 1.5-inch ID black ABS tubing. One-quarter inch all-thread and nuts. Some O-rings or rubber bands. I printed this project using both ABS and PLA. I employed hair-spray for adhesion, and a heated enclosure greatly facilitated the printing process. You may need to file the chamfers on the pipe ends to ensure they fit snugly into the bearings; however, I aimed for a tight fit to maximize grip inside the Rotisserie motor. This project is not aesthetically pleasing, but it operates flawlessly. I have included the FreeCAD files in case you require any modifications. This is my first genuine project, and suggestions are welcome.
