Peak Design anchor replacement
thingiverse
I sought a substitute for the anchor mount that came with my Peak Design Leash, one that would boast arca swiss compatibility without adding to my expenses. I didn't need nor want to pay extra for the standard plate, given the lightweight nature of my mirrorless camera, which made milled aluminum unnecessary. The tripod plate by Walter impressed me, but I added a couple of slots sized precisely for PD anchors and resized the tripod bolt hole so that the tiny allen bolt provided with the original anchor could fit snugly. This modification was necessary since I couldn't find a supplier for a 3/8" long flat head bolt to match his original design. I created two versions, one featuring slots in adjacent corners and another with the slot situated in the center of one side, allowing users to print whatever configuration best suits their tripods' arca compatible heads. After exporting the files from OpenSCAD, they grew somewhat large, but I found them to be manifold and printing without any issues.
