I've created an animation to this model as well, but to preserve the quality of the video I wanted to show details after all, so I decided not to compress it into a .gif file and leave it in its original format instead. The .stl file consists of one single mesh with no holes, loose edges or loose vertices on the surface - it's a manifold using the proper term.
