I produce my printed circuit boards with the toner transfer method, relying on affordable laminators despite their lack of durability at high temperatures. In response, I crafted custom side walls and holders that also allowed me to modify the design. This solution allows for adjustable rollers on the laminator and is suitable for thicker substrates made from PCBs. By taking precise measurements, I reverse-engineered an aluminum profile from real profiles found in buildings, scanning its cross section using a flat scanner before tracing its bitmap geometry.
