Peacemaker at Friary park, London, UK
myminifactory
The site of Friary Park was acquired in 1909, with an official opening taking place the following year. However, a planned ceremony to mark the occasion was abruptly cancelled due to the passing of Edward VII, whose name is honored by 'The Peacemaker', a majestic bronze statue dedicated in his memory. This impressive monument stands proudly on a rockwork plinth situated atop the park's highest point, donated generously by Sidney Simmons, JP.
