PCDuino3 Nano Case with Hard drive
thingiverse
I finally found the PCDuino3 Nano and Nano Lite cases to be elusive items (as well as support!). I couldn't locate one that fit my needs of also housing a 2.5" SATA hard drive, which was the reason I purchased it. So I decided to create one myself! I took the base from ralfselfjord's PCDuino3 Nano Shield and merged it with a hard drive enclosure from thankyoucaptainobvious. After scouring Thingiverse for hours for inspiration, I designed a lid that mimics the media center look, or a Mac Mini. I don't have a need or use for the GPIOs on the board, so they are not accessible in the current version of the case. Since I own the Nano Lite, which does NOT have an IR on the board, this current version also doesn't provide access to it. However, I left openings for an audio cable if used and one for the ethernet/usb ports. All other ports have cutouts in the lid, and the SD card is easily accessible. Note that this design requires a fairly large print: 140.7mm x 186mm x 42.9mm. The screw holes are designed for M3 screws, which should be a tight fit. The hard drive screws in, and the PCDuino is a friction fit.
