Working on motorization for project https://www.myminifactory.com/object/51672. M6 threaded rod is a hassle to screw in and out, so I've designed a motorization system to simplify vise usage. Here's what you'll need: A double pole, double throw switch to reverse motor polarity - my button required a 20x22mm hole. A DC motor with sufficient torque - I used one from an old VHS player, measuring 26mm in diameter and 2mm in shaft size. Nine-volt batteries Some wire Four small screws (hole diameter: 2.5mm) Two M6 nuts A bearing (inside diameter: 7mm / outside diameter: 12mm) Note: I've uploaded two boxes - one similar to mine, and another with a center hole for your button size (PCB-vise-controller-box-centered-hole-v2.stl). Credits go to yoyoek19 for the sprockets, and circuito for the battery holder.
