I wanted to create a vise, so I designed one, hoping it would be helpful for others as well. You'll need: M6 threaded rod (choose the length that suits you) 10mm aluminum pipe (same length as the rod) M6 rounded union (10mm diameter) 1 M4 bolt and nut some base material 3 screws to secure the base and a small one for the knob For reference, my base measures 250x120x20mm. A helpful tip: Apply some lubricant to the threads to make it easier to install them. You'll also need super glue for the M6 union and the knob, and some lubricant in the sphere of the knob as well.
