Spacers securely hold the circuit board in place, making it effortless to insert and seamlessly integrate piggyback cartridges. Designed to fit the cartridge shell of the standalone replacement version of the ICD / FTe R-Time 8 clone available at https://thebrewingacademy.com/collections/atari-800-xl-xe-xel-xld/products/atari-400-800-xl-xe-r-time-8-cartridge. When installed in an Atari 400 and 800 (left and right slots), I had to adjust the cartridge by shifting it to one side as I inserted the cartridge into the slot, ensuring the PCB fingers remained perfectly centered. Inspect your RT8 PCB and cartridge slot carefully to determine if the fingers are slightly off-center, requiring this adjustment. Alternatively, you can use hot glue or a non-conductive shim to expertly shift the board to one side inside the shell as needed.
