Following Obijuan's idea of making plastic PCBs, I made this PCB for July thief. I used the BD137 NPN transistor, which is recommended because it requires a 0.5V base polarization, allowing current to be extracted from a worn-out battery as long as it has that load or higher. Instead of the usual 1K resistance in this type of circuit, I chose a 0-10K potentiometer to grade the transistor's base voltage according to the source voltage.
