PCB Holder with Magnets
thingiverse
Update:\r\n\r\nI added a single magnet design, allowing you to cluster around almost any board shape with two magnets required naturally.\r\n\r\nDesigned for .062 PCB material, but feel free to remix it and open the slots as needed.\r\n\r\nI've created other PCB holders for assembly using guide pins, which work okay, but limit the board size due to the pins.\r\nThis design uses magnets instead, enabling you to use a cheap piece of sheet steel and hold just about any PCB until it flexes. The magnets also allow for grasping the PCB board at odd angles.\r\nI utilized the same 15mm x 4mm magnets used in my Tubing Cutter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2570935) and HF flashlight belt clip (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2617329).\r\n\r\nMagnet Source: https://www.ebay.com/itm/311833824652?var=610692315668\r\n\r\nI previously made one that used thin flat magnets from old antennas, but the magnet pull was significantly better than glue. This design uses 6-32 flatheads that self-tap and are not coming out.
