PCB Holder Mrk II.
thingiverse
I was inspired by zignig's Printable Desk Clamp (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:683) and made some modifications using hex nuts instead of square nuts for easier availability. All parts are readily available at hardware stores and hobby shops with a total cost of approximately $4.50. The clamp is useful for holding circuit boards, hobby modeling, and various objects. The picture does not include two hammered-in nuts and 20mm brass tubing already inserted. To assemble, you will need: 13 half-nuts and 13 full-nuts (x13 each) 1/4-20 bolt, 2 inches long 1/4 wing nut Threaded rods and brass tubes: - 130mm, 120mm, 80mm, 50mm of #10-24 threaded rod (4 pieces in total) - 120mm x 2 square brass tubing with 3.2 mm outer diameter (rails) - 20mm x 6 square brass tubing with 3.9 mm outer diameter (guides) Ensure that the smaller tube easily and snugly fits into the larger tube when testing at the store. If necessary, drill a 6mm or 3/16in hole in the plastic parts to ease insertion of the threaded rod.
