The support is very rigid and can be easily rotated by one hand. The springs lock the position and the indentations prevent rotation. To increase weight, I inserted a M8 threaded rod with nuts in the tube. Requires 3/4 inch (Ø19mm) tube, M8 and M4 hardware & screws 1.7x8mm. The tiny screws are commonly used inside electronics products. Fusion 360 files included, the diameter of the tube can be modified easily. Doesn't require support.
