PCB holder
thingiverse
I wanted to create a PCB holder for use when soldering, so I quickly assembled this one. You can adjust the width by sliding side 2 back and forth along the 8 mm steel rods and then secure it in place by tightening the knob that is attached to the grip. You can fix the angle of the board by tightening up the knob that screws onto the holder. Holder 2 is longer, allowing a spring to be placed on its shaft. All the machine screws used are M3, 16mm length with countersunk heads. The machine screw that attaches to the grip will need a lock nut and/or glue to hold it in place securely. If I were to redesign it, I would consider using some linear bearings on side 2, as this can be a bit stiff. I reamed out the holes to 8mm for better fitment. Print one of each part except the knobs, where you will need three.
