PCB Heatbed MK2a Plate (3 hole mounting) (DXF)
thingiverse
To create a laser-cut aluminum top for my Delta 3D Printer's heatbed, I will have two versions made - one with the standard 3-post mounting option and another with a requested 4-hole version. The standard version is based on the Reprap PCB Heatbed MK2a, while the updated Version 2 has a corrected 80mm wide gap for electronics instead of 70mm in the original design. For those using their heatbed with copper side down, the original file is still available. In Version 2.1, I added a 15mm x 5mm tab to facilitate easy removal of the plate. Version 2.2 features sharper corners in the electronics cut-out. For applying Kapton tape without bubbles, check out this video: http://youtu.be/HahEdDYf7wQ. These improvements come from Gineer R&D.
