PCB Heatbed for Huxley

PCB Heatbed for Huxley

thingiverse

This PCB Heatbed is designed for eMAKER Huxley but can be used on any 3D printer with a 140x140mm print area. The design is based on prusajr's PCB heatbed (thing:2172). Track widths are optimized to have 4.5Ohms resistance at 25°C, rising to 6.6Ohms at 150°C for standard 35um copper cladding. This board can handle a power supply of 19V, providing a power output between 80W and 54W. To print the design, I used press'n'peel and followed the etching process. The thermistor is soldered onto the center of the board, and black stove paint covers the tracks for better performance.
