PCB DIN rail mount
thingiverse
A colleague requested a PCB holder for DIN-rails to make tinkering easier. It's meant to be used with a DIN-rail stand which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3690627. You can mount the PCB in two different orientations as shown in the renderings. Mounting option #1 is the default setup, suitable for most PCBs. Mounting option #2 is ideal for PCBs with components close to the edges or when access to both sides matters. To secure the PCB in either case, I recommend inserting a M5 hex nut and fastening it from the front- or backside with an M5 x ~20/30mm screw. For mounting option #2, attach some surface material that prevents slipping, such as foam-rubber, cork, or silicone pad. Optionally, you can insert M3 hex nuts into the cutout on the backside and use long M3 screws to apply additional pressure to the PCB if you opt for #2.
