PCB cutting test for iModela
thingiverse
In this PCB cutting test, I utilized the "WINSTER PCB for iModela" software with a 15-degree conical cutter on the Roland DG's iModela 3D cutting machine. The Gerber data was generated using PCBE software. The pattern width is minimally 0.3mm, and there must be at least a 0.5mm space between patterns. This test aimed to convert a 0.8mm pitch to the standard 25.4mm pitch for a 32-pin IC (like ATmega328). However, this conversion was deemed impractical. The iModela machine can cut pieces up to 86x55x26mm in size and move its cutter with precision down to 0.01mm intervals. The cutting process took less than an hour with a digging depth of 0.2mm.
