I was in desperate need of a reliable PC4-M6 pneumatic fitting, but every printed option I tried shattered into pieces almost immediately. With a stash of PC4-01 fittings at my disposal, I took matters into my own hands and designed this essential part from scratch. To get started, you'll need the throat of an E3D V6/Volcano hotend (or its clones) that matches perfectly with either the PC4-01 or a PC4-M10 fitting. Since this printed component won't directly interact with the filament, there's no risk of damaging it. The design is tailored to match MK8 extruders and their clones flawlessly. You're free to use any throat you like, but I highly recommend avoiding those with a small PTFE tube stuck in them – aligning the filament will be a real challenge. On the other hand, all-metal throats slide smoothly, while 4.1mm bore (open) throats allow the bowden tube to reach right up to the gear without any issues.
