PC4-M5 Bowden Coupler (FLSUN Extruder)
thingiverse
The Bowden connectors with many Chinese clone printers can be quite delicate, making them hard to find at short notice. The Bowden coupling by Krtektm appeared to be an excellent solution but wasn't available in the thread size required for the extruder supplied with the FLSUN Delta, which has an M5 thread. A little tricky with the small thread size - as I needed to strike a balance between there being enough 'meat' so that the thread part doesn't snap off - but having the hole big enough for the filament to pass through (particularly when removing filament which might have a melted bit on the end) This seems to work well for me, and is certainly a good emergency part while waiting for a brass coupler. Thanks to Krtektm for the original design. Print Settings Printer: FLSUN Delta (Kossel mini) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100 Notes: Will print without supports - but the three tapered parts are quite narrow and fragile - crank up the cooling and definitely use a brim Post-Printing After printing, clean up the M5 threads with an M5 nut (if you have an FLSUN printer you should have some spares from the carriage bolts) You should also get a 4mm drill bit and clean out the inside of the tapered section - particularly where you remove the brim. Then print a nut from the original file (http://www.thingiverse.com/download:3119892) connect to your extruder and Bowden, and off you go....
