PC Pipe Shells
prusaprinters
These shells were designed to fit around the soft tubing in my PC loop and give the soft tubing a rigid look. The benefit of rigid PC pipes is that they just look really nice. The benefit of flexible tubing is that you can move parts to the side to access other parts without having to drain the loop. With these shells, you can to have the style of rigid pipes, but with the added benefit of still being able to move them out of the way! There is no exact STL since every PC water loop is unique. This was uploaded here to provide a base for anyone that wants to give their PC a similar look. …And because there a fair amount of interest on Reddit of others who were also interested in the idea. The best way to measure your bends/piping direction is to use a thick piece of copper wire or a coat hanger, and a decent caliper. When using a wire/coat hanger to figure out your pipe design, you'll want to bend the wire to simulate where your pipe will sit/hang. Once you have that, you measure the wire itself and use those measurements to create the pipes, remember to subtract the length of your tubing's fittings. When this is done correctly, you can make it look really nice, and you'll have a TRULY custom build. Goodluck!
