PC Motherboard IO cover V1.2
thingiverse
Having a cheap (but good) motherboard - there is no cover to hide the ugly rear IO ports... And if you are like me with an AIO that cannot hide this mess - ta-da-a! I switched from an air cooler to AIO for the bling.. and was presented with the ugliness of my motherboard :| Initially I just created a box for testing, but thanks to the lighting in my case the shield blends 100% and any details in the print will not be visible. Unless you take a photo of it with a flash! For the dimensions, the important ones are the placement of the holes to the rear. I have added brackets to them, in case someone wants to remix this. Don't forget that the screws have wide heads. Don't place the screw holes clos to the IO cover. The screw pads are just 0.6mm thick to accommodate short screws. My initial print was with 1mm ones and the top is screwed, while the bottom is not. I have never posted a thing in The Verse, so I hope the information I have given is enough.
