PC Cooling Pump

PC Cooling Pump

My liquid cooling system was an Antec, but the pump proved to be a major letdown - it consistently failed me. However, the CPU block and radiator were top-notch, so I took matters into my own hands by scrounging up some pumps from Princess Auto. Unfortunately, those pumps also met their demise eventually, leaving me no choice but to create a working alternative using parts from the PA pumps and a PC fan. I replaced the shaft with one that was long enough to reach through it and into the pump housing. Next, I soldered the shaft to the magnet turner assembly and secured it in place within the frame, before gluing it firmly onto the fan blade/drive assembly. Although this is an older fan model, which means PWM control isn't an option for me - but with the right fan on hand, you should be able to get it working. This design has been carefully crafted to be adaptable to whatever W/E hardware you prefer, so I encourage you to experiment and have fun with it.
