This pack includes a well-detailed, low-poly chess set (including the board and all 32 pieces) suitable for real-time rendering engines supporting the physically based rendering pipeline. The poly/vertex count given is for all 32 figures combined; each piece has between 200 and 500 polygons. Although the geometry isn't dense, shapes are maintained, and topology is not overly simplified. The chess set uses a single material. The asset comes in .OBJ, .FBX, and .3DS formats. Texture maps included are base color, metallic, roughness, normal, and ambient occlusion, all in lossless 8-bit .PNG format (4K resolution for sharp details from close-up, adjustable as needed, ideal 2048x2048). The chess set was crafted using 3DS Max, high-poly sculpted with ZBrush, and textured with Substance Painter. The checker texture was created in Substance Designer.
