PBOX Replica

PBOX Replica

thingiverse

I learned a lot about electronics when I was younger by building Radio Shack PBOX kits. All the kits used a red perforated plastic chassis to hold the electronic components. I decided to recreate a PBOX for a retro electronics project. I designed the PBOX with OpenSCAD so that the user can customize it to any desired size and put holes for components in any desired location rather than melting them into the plastic with a soldering iron as Radio Shack recommended. On the other hand if you really want a retro PBOX building experience, you could print it using ABS and melt holes for components with the soldering iron and experience breathing the same nasty fumes that I remember from my childhood, but I don't recommend it.
