PB4Y-2 Privateer for microarmor
thingiverse
Maritime patrol and bomber developed from the B-24 series. Originally designed for low-altitude operations, it was decided to remove the dorsal ball turret and turbo-superchargers. A second ventral turret was added to meet the need for increased firepower at lower altitudes. By making this change, the vertical stabilizer proved to be more stable than the twin tails of the B-24. The waist gunners were equipped with powered turrets, each mounting dual .50-caliber machine guns. These aircraft also served as storm trackers and aerial water bombers in firefighting operations. 3D model created in full dimensions using Blender 2.80 and exported from Blender 2.79b at a scale of 1/100 for the STL file The model was then scaled down to 35% in the slicer software. I have encountered difficulties exporting STL files directly from Blender 2.80 for use with Cura. However, I have found that exporting the mesh from Blender 2.79b results in a consistent file size, regardless of whether I am using 2.79b or 2.80 to export it. As always, a reference point was created for the D6 at 15mm
