Pazinger Vortex Tube
grabcad
The Vortex Tube, initially invented by Ranque in 1933 and later enhanced by Hilsch in 1947, experienced further improvements by I.M. Pazinger in 2018. This innovative cooling device operates without any moving parts, functioning through the separation of gas flow into cold and hot streams moving in opposite directions. In my specific design, the average temperature of the cold stream is as low as -20°C, while the temperature difference can reach up to an impressive 75°C.
