As Creator of Learning and Discovery Experiences at Westport Library MakerSpace, this project marked my final six weeks on staff. Alongside staff members and patrons, I conceived and constructed cardboard costumes representing chess pieces. Utilizing Autodesk 123D Catch, I photographed participants to create precise 3D scans. These models were then refined using Meshmixer and repaired with Netfabb to ensure precision. The edited files were imported into Tinkercad, where each piece was combined onto a shared base. Additional project details are accessible here: https://monograph.io/joshburker/community-chess-set A photo album documenting this endeavor can be viewed at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/senorwences/albums/72157658496957881
